Apogee Construction is seeking a Project Manager that can immediately add value to the organization and mesh with the dynamic, hardworking, and adaptable team that exists today. The ideal individual will be enthusiastic about research, planning, and organizing to deliver “Best in class” service to the customers and communities we serve.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Ensure a complete nowledge and understanding of all contract drawings, specifications, addenda, RFIs, and any other job-related contracts and information for each project
- Prepare and communicate RFIs with architects, engineers, etc.
- Prepare work orders, change orders, and provide daily reports for all projects
- Coordinate changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
- Prepare jobsites for safety and productive operations
- Coordinate internal labor and resources, as well as third parties/vendors to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Communicate and interact with owners, architects, engineers, government officials, general contractors and the public, in a clear, concise, and professional manner, maintaining positive and respectful relationships
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Knowledgeable and efficient in the following software: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam
- Demonstrate an understanding of scopes of work and estimating practices
- Extensive knowledge of industry practices, procedures, and market trends
- 4 Year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or 10+/- years of experience
- Prior experience managing; Rough carpentry, cold formed metal framing, membrane roofing, interior finishes, and division-10 scopes of work
- Dedicated, well organized, able to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
- Detailed oriented with the ability to focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Maintain professionalism when faced with aggressive deadlines
- Excellent leadership, personable, communication, and written skills that can effectively manage others
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning
